Our Favorite Restaurant in Hawaii Kai!

Liko's Tap and Table is one of our favorite restaurants on island and certainly our favorite place for food or drinks in Hawaii Kai. Located just a 30 minute drive from Waikiki, Liko's is our recommended brunch, lunch or dinner stop. Perfect for anyone heading to Hanauma Bay, China Walls, Sandy's, Makapu'u, or any other destination on the south east corner of Oahu. So, what makes Liko's one of our all time favorites? To start their menu consists of many familiar favorites with a local twist. If you're looking for an adult beverage, Liko's has craft cocktails as well as a generous selection of beers on tap. Last but certainly not least, a view that is second to none, a friendly staff and fast service.

Drinks

Since tap is in the name, it only makes sense to start there. They offer over 20 beers on tap. Including lights, porters, stouts and everything in between. You'll also find a cider or two on tap if that's more your style. They also have seltzers and domestics in bottles or can. Still not interested? Maybe their craft cocktails will interest you. Our favorite brunch cocktails are the mai tai and bloody marry. After brunch is over they have a new cocktail menu to choose from. The house old fashion or the lychee mule are amongst our favorites. Let's get to prices. Beer, ciders, and seltzers are going to start at $6 for domestic bottles and range up to $11 for some of the crafts on tap. Craft cocktails are all going to fall in the $13 - $14 range.

Appetizers

If your heading to Liko's for lunch you'll have a handful of options for appetizers. Our go to is always the wings. They bring them out with a dry rub and give you all the sauces, so you get to mix it up and please the whole table. If we're not ordering the wings, we'll usually go with the nachos or tacos. If you're stopping in for dinner, we'd strongly recommend trying the crab cakes. Prices for appetizers are going to range from $10 for fries up to $24 for the crab cakes.

Entrees

There are 3 different menus at Liko's. Brunch is typically served till 1. The lunch and dinner menu is from 10 am to close. If you're stopping in for brunch we recommend the eggs benedict with kalua pork or the loco moco. If it's lunchtime one of our all time favorites is the french dip!! They also have a great selection of salads, burgers, and sandwiches. The dinner menu is a bit more upscale then the brunch and lunch menu. There are 3 different dinner categories. If you're in the mood for salad, try the ahi nicoise. Pasta is also an option on the dinner menu, shrimp scampi and bolognese are both very tasty. Our favorite classic entrees are the 24 hour prime rib and the fresh catch. Both are very rich and sure to please. Now to prices. All menus range from around $15 up to around $35. Salads being the cheapest and the steak options being the most expensive.
