Camping in a National Grassland
Located 45 miles southwest of Fargo, you'll find Sheyenne Oaks Campground. Sheyenne Oaks is nestled into the Sheyenne Grasslands. Over 70,000 acres of federal land which offers many recreational opportunities. One of the more unique offerings of this campground, are the horse corrals available for rent.
Things to Know
There are plenty of campsites with full hookups offered. They include electric, water, and sewer. If you'd prefer to do more primitive camping, they have tenting sites available as well. Camping sites with full hookups costs $40 per night. While primitive sites are only $25 per night. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. The entire grounds are covered with trees, offering plenty of shade. They have a very nice restroom facility with showers. This is included with the cost of your stay. Camping Recommendations
Sheyenne Oaks offers some very spacious camping spots. So, any of our travel trailer or RV rentals would work here. If you're looking to stay active while out camping, adding one of our rental bikes can be a great way to explore the trails.
